Round tour hike from Gumen, Braunwald, over Bärentritt and the Karst plain

  Take the  lift up to Gumen (1,901 m) to reach the starting point. Keep a look out for rare flowers, e.g. Edelweiss.

4時間のT4レベル。深淵に沿った狭い道が好きな人向けのアルパインツアーだ。山の春（6月末～7月初旬）の時のブラウンヴァルトのグーメンは素晴らしい景色だ。色とりどりの花が咲き乱れ、中には植物学者を魅了する珍しい花もある。これまで3回もグーメンの道を歩いたことがあり、毎回植物学者の研究グループに遭遇した。周遊ツアーだから2回もこの素晴らしい花の道を歩くことができる。ベレントリット（「熊の歩み」という意味）への登りは岩壁の間を通り抜け、ベルゲテンセーリ湖が眼下に広がる非常に露出度の高いものだ。垂直を誘発する岩の道は、「普通の山道」として白赤白のサインで示されているが、標識に疑問を抱かせた。きっとこれはT4に分類される白青白のサインの山道だろう。ベレントリットを下るより登る方が簡単だ。下がったらかなりアドレナリンが出るだろう。上空の果てしなく続くカルスト地形の石原の端にある道は、時にはかなり端に寄って、あたり一面に壮大な景色を見渡すことができる。総じて、このツアーは高所恐怖症の経験豊富なハイカーにしかおすすめできない。しかし、美しい！

4 hour T4 hike for people with a head for narrow paths along abysses. Braunwald's Gumen in alpine Spring season (June, early July) is stunning. It's overflowing with colorful flowers, some of them so rare they attract botanists. I've walked on the Gumen path three times now, and every single time I encountered study groups of botanists. You'll be able to enjoy the wonderous flower path twice during this round tour, once at the start and once at the end. The climb up to Bärentritt leads through rock walls and is extremely exposed, with the Bergetenseeli sitting below. The vertigo-inducing rock path made me question the white-red-white markings that indicate a "normal" mountain trail. Surely, this should be classified T4 as a white-blue-white alpine trail? It's easier to go up rather than down the Bärentritt. Down might would be quite adrenaline inducing. The path at the edge of the endless karst stone fields above is sometimes quite close to the edge as well, providing spectacular views all around. All in all, this hike is only for experienced hikers with a head and appreciation for heights. But my, it is beautiful!
